Typing Fingers & Keyboard Positions

If you have been practising regularly, you will now be more aware of the various positions and probably can figure out which fingers will be used for the next set of characters.

We will now extend this to Row 4 - the bottom row of the keyboard. This row includes our first few symbols - the comma and full-stop, but is one which are frequently used.

Start with your fingers on the Home Row (Row 3) with your index fingers over F & J.

As a guide to where you are currently are, always return to the Home Row & Keys F & J when you are not typing.

If you need help with the finger's chart, please review the First Lesson.
